State of Gender Equality
The Government of Rwanda has made promotion of gender equality one of the key priorities for good governance and ensure human rights. Within these frameworks, a strong and solid stage for gender equality and women's empowerment was set for women and men of Rwanda to realize their rights, potentials, aspirations and be full partners and beneficiaries in the Country's development. The highlighted achievements within this booklet have been possible thanks to the strong political will and commitment to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women by the country's top leadership.
