The Chief Gender Monitor Received Ethiopian Parliamentarians In Her Office
On March 30, 2012 the Chief Gender Monitor, Madam oda Gasinzigwa, received a delegation of 11 Members of Parliament from the leadership of Parliamentary Caucus of People’s Representatives of the Federal Democratic of Ethiopia. Their visit in Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) aimed at sharing experience in gender monitoring and promotion of gender equality and equity in Rwanda.

GMO Facilitated a Participatory Gender Audit in Gisagara District
From 19 - 23 March, 2012, Gisagara District conducted a Participatory Gender Audit (PGA), facilitated by Gender Monitoring Office (GMO). The aim of gender audit was to establish baseline data, and to identify gaps and challenges facing the District in the implementation of gender principles. The audit also developed recommendations to address gaps and challenges.
